Teach Procedural Art Making with Animation

File:  Teaching, Performance

1. Marco Tempest is a Cyber Illusionist / Virtual Magician who combines traditional magic tricks, like Sleight of Hand, with emerging technology, like Augmented Reality, to produce astonishing illusions.   He uses the same approach in his very popular Ted talks.
And to tell the stories of our heros like Nikola Tesla

The topic of his talks are about Technology and science but his audience is also the learning about the history of Magic and Magicians.

Can Tempest's teaching philosophy be applied to Animation?  Can I teach animation history and techniques with the latest Interactive Media tools.
The lesson plan for the fundamental phenomenon of persistence of vision could be taught and demonstrated in a similar way as it is in the Science web-series Smarter Every Day.
